I went for my 30 week check up today. Everything continues to look great, according to my Dr. We did discuss scheduling an inducement. Since we are an hour away from the hospital, we're a little leery about letting it happen naturally. Steven doesn't want to be delivering a baby on the side of the road and neither do I! We did this with Caleb and he was born within 4 hours of starting the pitocin. So as of today, we will be having our baby on April 16th. woo-hoo!!
Since Steven was unable to go to the dr. with me today, Caleb had to go with me to the triage room, where they take your blood pressure and weight before you see the dr. He was very curious about everything they were doing to me, pricking my finger, taking my blood pressure and was just taking it all in. The last thing the nurse asked me to do was to step on the scale, as I was walking to it, Caleb loudly asks, "Are you gonna cry, momma?" The nurses and every woman who heard his question cracked up. One lady answered him and said, "Yes sweetheart, all women cry when they stand on that thing!" Too cute!

Gina is having her c section on April 17
I cant believe you are already scheduling inducement! Seems like you just posted the good news yesterday....okay, I know it seems like a lifetime ago for you, but.....
C ~ My Emily was born on the 15th of April....If all babies born around that timeframe are as sweet, laid-back and great sleepers like Emily then you are in luck! It does seem like just yesterday that you posted that sweet video...I can't believe it will be here before you know it...
Oh Cheryl, I can't believe you're at 30 weeks. April 16th is not that far at all! That was precious what your little guy said. I'm happy to be watching this child come into the world, from afar, of course!
Ok the comment by your son that was too hysterical and woohoo April is so close.
Aww Yay! I can't wait!!
The scale is not a woman's friend. :) Way too cute.
I'm so glad that y'all are scheduled and good to go. Can't believe its getting that close.
Hugs,
Fran
Ha! That's adorable! We'll all be counting down with you - the days until the baby comes AND the pounds afterward! :o)

Hey!! It's been awhile since I've dropped by. I'm sorry!! I'm so excited to hear about your preganacy. I don't blame you one bit about not wanting to deliver on the side of the road! Take care, my friend!
Love it!!! My children are so sweet when they see me step on the scale and frown they quickly hug me and say "mommy you are not fat".. They must have heard someone say they were fat. (I would never say that about myself. at least not hourly only daily. ) :) sounds like things are going well with the baby and now you have an arrival date, good to know I am sure for planning.
Blessings,
Linda
How precious!!! Praying for you.
Much love,
Angela
